How can I delete the opt folder?

My Asus RT-N16 with the latest tomato was working fine until I rebooted earlier. I had followed this guide, and had been mounting my optware drive on opt. All of a sudden now, there is an opt folder at boot, and I cant mount my drive there anymore. Any way I can fix this?

Re: How can I delete the opt folder?

    Just Try This...

    • Remove any USB drive from your Router.
    • Reboot rooter
    • Connect your USB drive back to Router.
    • Wait about 5 minutes to Complete automounting and autostart scripts to be loaded.
    • Try to see if your apps are running ok now.

    IF Not... then,

    • Remove any scripts loaded on your router like firewall rules and Mounting Scripts.
    • Set automount OFF
    • Reboot your Router
    • Repeat the Optware installation again using format option.

Re: How can I delete the opt folder?

Didn't work. it can't mount to /opt/(which, as I understand, is required for optware) because /opt/ already exists, and I cant delete it.

Edit: fugured it out! mount -o bind /tmp/mnt/OPTWARE /opt

any way I can make the bind happen automatically? a change in my fstab?
